Tezda Sotaman is a classifieds platform for selling and renting homes, construction and hotels. Alongside the website we built a Telegram bot for searching listings by region and category right inside the messenger.
Challenge
In Uzbekistan, property listings tend to scatter across Telegram channels and groups, where finding anything is hard. The client wanted a platform that joins a website with Telegram: listings live on the site, and people find them where they already spend their time.
What we built
The site is built on PHP (Yii2) and MySQL: a catalogue with a search form, listing pages, a user account area and an admin panel for moderation.
The Python bot pulls listings through the site's API. A user picks a language, then a region and category, and gets listings page by page. The bot speaks Uzbek, Russian and English. Search requires subscribing to the project's channels, which helped grow their audience.
