Many of the people who come to us for SEO have the same problem: the site is in three languages, but Google only sees one. The language switches via a cookie or JavaScript while the URL stays the same. The crawler sees one version, and the other two simply don't exist for it. No amount of articles will fix that; the technical side has to be sorted first.
What's different about SEO in Uzbekistan. Google dominates Uzbek-language searches, while Yandex still brings in a noticeable share of the Russian-speaking audience. So we work for both search engines. Uzbek adds its own complications:
- people spell the same word in different ways: “o‘quv markazi”, “o'quv markazi”, “oquv markazi”, and in Cyrillic “ўқув маркази”;
- some searches about local topics are typed in Russian, or in a mix of both;
- there are fewer pages in Uzbek online than in Russian or English, so in our experience the Uzbek version often grows faster.
A separate URL for every language. This is the foundation of multilingual SEO: each version has its own URLs, hreflang tags and per-language sitemaps. That's how we built the site for the international law firm Enlawyer: three languages, sitemaps, structured data for the organisation, articles and team. On the site of Excellent Print, a packaging manufacturer in Tashkent, the Russian, Uzbek and English versions also live on separate paths.
Maps are search too. For queries like “printing house tashkent” or “dentist yunusabad”, Google first shows a map with three businesses and only then the websites. For a local business, a profile on Google, Yandex Maps and 2GIS sometimes brings more enquiries than the website itself. We fill it out completely: categories, photos, opening hours, replies to reviews.
What we don't do. We don't buy links in bulk or write meaningless “SEO texts”. That gives a quick spike and then a penalty. And we don't guarantee the number one spot on Google, because nobody honestly can. What we guarantee is the scope of work, the timeline and a transparent report.
When to expect results. On an established site, the first changes after technical fixes usually show up within 1–2 months. Noticeable traffic growth takes 3–6 months. A new domain needs longer. If you need leads tomorrow, run Google and Yandex ads alongside SEO.
Pricing. A one-off technical audit starts at $300. SEO for a small site starts at $300 a month, for a multilingual corporate site at $500 a month, for an online store at $800 a month. Every account (Search Console, analytics, business profile) is in your name; we work with access only.
If you want to know what's holding your site back, send the link to @Azamat_yamin on Telegram and we'll share our first observations for free.
