Bot for Yoshlar Ovozi, the national vocal and talent contest run by Uzbekistan's Youth Affairs Agency. Since 2022 it has handled 250,330 completed registrations from roughly 44,800 users.
Challenge
The contest runs nationwide, with entrants from every district. Applications had to come into one place, correctly tied to a region and district from the start, so regional offices could see their own participants.
For young people the most convenient channel is Telegram; it's on almost every phone.
What we built
The bot is built on aiogram. Registration is step by step: the entrant picks a region, then a district from a list, so nobody types addresses by hand and the data stays consistent.
Organisers see statistics in the admin panel and export participants to Excel broken down by region. The bot has been running since 2022 and has seen the contest through several seasons.
