Kunduz Ikat makes handmade clothing and accessories from Uzbek ikat. We built a bilingual website that brings together the brand story, the collection catalogue and how ikat is made.
Challenge
The founder wanted to present ikat as part of an everyday wardrobe, not only as festive wear. Each colourway is sewn in 2–3 pieces, so the site had to feel closer to a brand magazine than an online store.
Orders go through a personal consultation in Telegram, and the site needed to lead buyers there.
What we built
Built on Next.js. The home page has a full-bleed photo slider, sections on the founder and brand philosophy, the collection catalogue and the 7 stages of making ikat.
Every item has its own page with a gallery, price and description. The «Order» buttons open a Telegram chat. The site is in Russian and English, with a blog and sitemap.
Outcome
- 01Bilingual brand website: Russian and English
- 02Product catalogue with galleries
- 03Orders through Telegram
- 04Sections on brand history and the ikat process
