The website of MY5, one of Uzbekistan's largest family TV channels: TV schedule, series, shows, presenters and a blog. We launched it in 2023 and have been developing it alongside the channel ever since.

Challenge

Mening Yurtim has a large audience, and viewers search for very specific things: when the next episode airs, who hosts a show, where to watch a film. The channel wanted those answers on its own site, not only on social media.

The editorial team also needed one tool to update the broadcast schedule, show pages and job openings without calling a programmer.

What we built

The frontend is Nuxt 3 with server-side rendering, so series and show pages get indexed properly. Backend and admin run on Django.

The structure follows how viewers actually use the channel: a TV schedule for today and the week, films and series, shows with their own pages, presenters and staff, a blog, vacancies and a live broadcast page.

Launch wasn't the end of it. Over three years the repository has collected more than 140 commits: new sections, seasonal changes, dependency updates.

Outcome

  • 01Launched in 2023, still maintained
  • 02140+ commits over the support period
  • 03TV schedule, series, shows, presenters, blog, vacancies
  • 04The editorial team runs all content through the admin panel
