A live-stream landing page and logo for Solnechny TV, a Russian-language channel based in Uzbekistan. One site serves viewers in three countries through .uz, .ru and .kz domains.
Challenge
The channel's viewers are spread across Uzbekistan, Russia and Kazakhstan. They needed one simple place to open the broadcast and watch, with no sign-up and no extra clicks. The channel also wanted a new logo.
A hard requirement: the stream had to work on fast home broadband and on weak mobile connections alike.
What we built
We designed the logo and built a lightweight Nuxt 3 landing page around it. The player is the point of the page; everything else is secondary.
The player runs on video.js with a quality switcher, so someone on a slow connection can drop the resolution instead of watching a frozen frame. telekanal.uz, solnechniytv.ru and solnechniytv.kz all point to the same app, which means one codebase to maintain instead of three sites.
