The Platina news website for Media Affairs, covering politics, economy, science, culture and sport. We made the logo, designed the interface and built the site.
Challenge
Media Affairs was launching a new publication and came to us with a name and a list of topics, but no design. We had to work out what Platina would look like and build a site where the newsroom could push out a lot of stories every day.
What we built
We started with the logo and visual style, then designed the UX/UI: a front page with the top stories, section feeds (politics, economy, science, culture, sport) and an article page with nothing pulling attention away from the text.
Most people read news on their phones, so the mobile layout got as much attention as desktop. After design we built the site ourselves and set up the admin panel for editors.
Outcome
- 01Logo and visual identity for the publication
- 02UX/UI design for desktop and mobile
- 03Five topic sections
- 04Launched in 2023
